Development Process Methodology
The Algoryx Mold Characterization Study provides a deep understanding of the relationships between all part dimensions in all cavities.
The dimensional relationships are shown on correlation charts. The correlation charts show the correlation/regression line between the Predicator Dimension and each predicted dimension. There is a separate correlation chart for each predicted dimension.
The regression line represents all possible combinations of press settings. This means that billions of possible combinations of press settings are represented by one straight line! The regression line takes press settings out of the picture. When press settings are taken out of the picture, it then becomes possible to tune the mold and tune design tolerances independently from press settings.
